Acuity9 work on Exhibit for Sale at FMoPA
It is with great excitement that two works from Dale S. Dervin, owner of Acuity9 Digital Productions, will be included in the FMoPA Benefit Exhibition for sale at a time in the near future to be announced. As of now, that timeframe is thought to be the month of December, 2020.
The FLORIDA MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS (FMoPA) (fmopa.org), is located in the Waterfront Arts District in Tampa, Florida, in Rivergate Plaza’s architecturally significant Cube, a soaring six-story atrium recognized as one of the most impressive interior spaces on the west coast of Florida. The museum is dedicated to exhibiting important photographic art as central to contemporary life and culture. FMoPA collects, preserves, and exhibits historic and contemporary works by nationally and internationally known photographic artists.
“Baranoff Oak at Night – 4-27-2019” Monochrome, 2/15
This monochrome work was captured late at night using two, high-power professional photographic strobes in such a way as to silhouette in its entirety, the massive and iconic Baranoff Oak, the oldest living Live Oak in Pinellas, County- some three-hundred to five-hundred years old, situated in downtown Safety Harbor, Florida. This print on 20″ x 30″ archival paper, is signed and numbered two in a series of only fifteen (2/15), and mounted in a hard wood frame.
“Wind – 2019” Monochrome, 1/15
This monochrome work was captured on a blustery day in Phillipe Park, Safety Harbor, Florida, using an ultra-wide angle lens. This print on 20″ x 30″ archival paper, is signed and numbered one in a series of only fifteen (1/15), and mounted in a hard wood frame.
